County's Contract Administrator or designee shall have full authority to supervise Contractor’s performance in the daily operation of this Contract and shall provide direction to Contractor in areas relating to policy, information and procedural requirements. County's Contract Administrator or designee shall make changes to the terms and conditions of this Contract only in accordance with Paragraph 8 (Change Notices and Amendments). County's Contract Administrator or designee shall have complete and exclusive authority in all substantive questions, including without limitation, interpretation of Federal, State, and local laws, civil procedures, legal process, court rules and administrative regulations.
County’s Contract Administrator. The County’s Contract Administrator (CCA) is the Chief of Liability Claims in the Chief Administrative Office. The CCA is the designated agent of the County for the purposes of administering the County’s self- insured Medical Malpractice and Hospital Liability Claims Administration and legal Defense Management Services program and has the responsibility to manage the operations under this Contract.
County’s Contract Administrator. (1) The County shall designate an individual to administer this Agreement and act as the County's liaison with the Company in connection with the Contract Services (the "Contract Administrator"). The Company understands and agrees that the Contract Administrator has only limited authority with respect to the implementation of this Agreement, and cannot bind the County with respect to any Agreement amendment, or any waiver of the obligations of the Company hereunder. Within such limitations, the Company shall be entitled to rely on the written directions of the Contract Administrator.

Responsibilities of the Contract Administrator include: ▪ ensuring that the objectives of this Contract are met; ▪ providing direction to the Contractor in the areas relating to County policy, information requirements, and procedural requirements; ▪ meeting with the Contractor’s Contract Representative on a regular basis; and ▪ inspecting any and all tasks, deliverables, goods, services, or other work provided by or on behalf of the Contractor. The County’s Contract Administrator is not authorized to make any changes in any of the terms and conditions of this Contract and is not authorized to further obligate County in any respect whatsoever.

The CONTRACTOR understands and agrees that the Contract Administrator has only limited authority with respect to the implementation of this Agreement, and cannot bind the COUNTY with respect to any Agreement amendment, or any waiver of the obligations of the CONTRACTOR hereunder. Within such limitations, the CONTRACTOR shall be entitled to rely on the written directions of the Contract Administrator.
