Courageous Service. Courageous Service Citation shall be awarded to any officer who in the performance of their duties displays exceptional courage and bravery or where the officer knowingly endangers, or is likely to endanger their life or exposes themselves to serious injury and as a result of the crime is prevented, a life saved, a suspect is arrested, or an incident is resolved.
