Course Crosswalks. a. A course equivalency crosswalk will be used to equate high school courses with college courses that identifies the number of credits that may be earned for each course completed through the dual credit program. b. Course Crosswalks show the correlations between the College’s student learning outcomes (“SLOs”) and the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (“TEKS”). TEKS are the state standards for Texas public schools from kindergarten to 12th grade. c. To consider offering a course as dual credit, the alignment between the SLOs and the TEKS must be examined and an official document or crosswalk must be approved by the College that documents the match.
