COURSEWORK REQUIREMENTS. Tuition reimbursement may be approved only for coursework towards a degree approved at an accredited institution of higher education in an occupation employed by the City- - or - - specifically job related individual courses at an accredited institution of higher education - - or - - job related professional certificate. Once an employee has been accepted for matriculation towards an approved degree by an accredited institution of higher education, electives and required general education coursework will be eligible for tuition reimbursement as well as core degree coursework. At least a “C” grade is required for approval of an employee’s tuition reimbursement request. A passing score is required for ungraded coursework.
