Common use of Court or arbitration proceedings Clause in Contracts

Court or arbitration proceedings. No Disputing Party may initiate or commence court or arbitration proceedings relating to a Dispute unless it has complied with the procedure set out in this clause 18, provided that application may still be made to the courts: (a) interlocutory relief: for interlocutory relief; (b) debts: to recover or enforce a debt payable; or (c) enforce settlement: to enforce a settlement agreed to by the Disputing Parties under clause 18.1 or 18.2.
