Court Settlement Clause Samples

A Court Settlement clause outlines the process by which parties agree to resolve their disputes through the court system rather than through alternative dispute resolution methods like arbitration or mediation. This clause typically specifies the jurisdiction, venue, and any procedural requirements for bringing a legal action, ensuring that both parties understand where and how legal proceedings will take place if a dispute arises. Its core practical function is to provide clarity and predictability regarding dispute resolution, reducing uncertainty and potential conflicts over where and how legal claims should be handled.
