Common use of COVENANT TO PAY RENT Clause in Contracts

COVENANT TO PAY RENT. The covenants of Tenant to pay the Base Rent and the Additional Rent are independent of any other covenant, condition, provision or agreement contained in this Lease. Except as specifically set forth herein, Base Rent and Additional Rent shall be paid without setoff, deduction, demand or counterclaim of any nature whatsoever. All rents are due and payable, in advance, on the first day of each calendar month during the Term of Lease and any extensions of the Lease to Landlord at: or such other address as Landlord shall designate to Tenant in writing in accordance with Article 18.0 below.
