Creation of Position. The Employer shall have the right to create part-time bargaining unit positions in all categories under the following conditions: 1. A part-time employee is not eligible for overtime work unless it has been refused by all full-time employees in the same category. 2. When the District hires a part-time employee, he/she must be hired for at least eight (8) weeks during a fiscal year. 3. The District shall not decrease the number of current full-time employees due to hiring of part-time employees.
