Common use of Creditors and spouses of Member Clause in Contracts

Creditors and spouses of Member. Creditors of a member cannot vote a member's LLC units nor in any way assume ownership or management rights of a member in the LLC. At most, a creditor of a member is entitled to seek a court order attaching distributions made by the LLC on account of the member's LLC membership interest. A spouse or former spouse of a member stands in the same position as a creditor of a member under this agreement.
