Common use of Crime Coverage Insurance Clause in Contracts

Crime Coverage Insurance. Such insurance shall be in the amount not less than twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) covering against loss of money, securities, or other property referred to hereunder which may result from employee dishonesty, forgery or alteration, theft, disappearance and destruction, computer fraud, burglary and robbery. COMMISSION shall be named as Loss Payee, as their interest may appear. Legally adequate evidence of self-insurance meeting the approval of the COMMISSION’S Legal Counsel may be substituted for any coverage required above. CONTRACTOR must submit a copy of the self-insured certificate issued by the State of California.
