Common use of CRIMINAL CLEARANCES Clause in Contracts

CRIMINAL CLEARANCES. 25.1 For the safety and welfare of the children to be served under this Contract, CONTRACTOR agrees, as permitted by law, to ascertain arrest and conviction records for all current and prospective employees, independent contractors, volunteers or Subcontractors who may come in contact with children in the course of their work, volunteer activity or performance of the subcontract and shall maintain such records in the file of each such person.
