Common use of Criminal Drug Convictions Clause in Contracts

Criminal Drug Convictions. The Grantee's employees must notify the Grantee, in writing, of any criminal drug convictions for a violation occurring in the workplace or during the performance of project activities no later than 5 days after such conviction. The Grantee must notify the Corporation within 10 days of receiving notice of such conviction. The Grantee must take appropriate action against such employee, up to and including termination or release for cause consistent with the Corporation's rules on termination and suspension of service, or require the employee to satisfactorily participate in an approved-drug abuse assistance or rehabilitation Program.
