Critical Infrastructure Protection Sample Clauses
The Critical Infrastructure Protection clause establishes requirements and responsibilities for safeguarding essential systems and assets that are vital to the functioning of society, such as power grids, water supplies, and communication networks. This clause typically mandates that parties implement specific security measures, report incidents promptly, and comply with relevant laws or standards related to critical infrastructure. Its core practical function is to minimize the risk of disruptions or damage to crucial services, thereby ensuring continuity and resilience against threats or emergencies.
Critical Infrastructure Protection. Seller shall comply with the critical infrastructure protection requirements set forth in Section 1(b)(iii)(G) of this Attachment B (Facility Owned by Seller).
Critical Infrastructure Protection. Subscriber Organization shall comply with the critical infrastructure protection requirements set forth in Section 1(b)(iii)(G) of this Attachment B (Facility Owned by Subscriber Organization).
Critical Infrastructure Protection. (a) Vendor shall submit documentation describing the approach, methodology and design to provide physical and cyber security with its submittal of the Specifications which shall be at least sixty (60) Days prior to the [INSERT DELIVERY DEADLINE FOR SPECIFICATIONS].
(b) The design shall meet industry standards and best practices, as indicated by NERC CIP guidelines and requirements for critical generation facilities. The Equipment shall be designed with the criteria to meet applicable industry standards and guidelines (at the time of this writing, NERC CIP, or any future standard adopted by the industry in its place) compliance requirements and identify areas that are not consistent with NERC CIP guidelines and requirements.
(c) The cyber-security documentation shall include a block diagram of the control system with all external connections clearly described.
(d) Vendor shall provide such additional information as City may reasonably request as part of a security posture assessment.
