Common use of Cross-Border Data Transfers Clause in Contracts

Cross-Border Data Transfers. Provider shall not transfer any Personal Data outside the European Economic Area or Switzerland without express written approval from AbbVie. In the event AbbVie requests Provider to transfer Personal Data across national borders, andwithout prejudice to the data subject’s rights, Provider agrees to consult with AbbVie to ensure the lawful export of Personal Data, the terms of which may be outlined in a separate agreement.
