Cultural accessibility. (a) You must ensure that the Services are culturally accessible to Aboriginal and Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Islander peoples and to people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, recognising the diversity of needs of people, including specific needs, from urban, regional and remote areas. (b) Where the target group for the Services is Aboriginal or Xxxxxx Strait Islander people, You must, if We request, provide evidence to Our satisfaction that individuals, families, cultural custodians, clan and language groups, community organisations, communities or representatives deemed appropriate by the community to which the Services are being delivered, are engaged in the design, delivery and evaluation of programs and the Services to ensure they are appropriate to local community and cultural needs.
