Common use of CURING PERIOD AND TERMINATION DATE Clause in Contracts

CURING PERIOD AND TERMINATION DATE. The party receiving the written notice of termination shall have thirty (30) days from the receipt of said notice to cure or otherwise eliminate the circumstances constituting cause for termination. If such party fails to cure or eliminate the circumstances constituting cause for termination within a (30) day period, this Agreement shall terminate thirty (30) days from the date of expiration of the curing period, said expiration date being sometimes called herein the "effective date of termination".
