Common use of Currency and Calculations Clause in Contracts

Currency and Calculations. All monetary amounts in this Agreement, unless otherwise specifically indicated, are stated in United States currency. All calculations and estimates to be performed or undertaken, unless otherwise specifically indicated, are to be expressed in United States currency. All payments required under this Agreement shall be paid in United States currency in immediately available funds, unless otherwise specifically indicated. Where another currency is to be converted into United States currency it shall be converted on the basis of the exchange rate published in the Wall Street Journal, Eastern Edition for the day in question.
