Common use of Custodial Care Clause in Contracts

Custodial Care. This is supportive services focusing on activities of daily life that do not require the skills of qualified technical or professional personnel, including but not limited to, bathing, dressing and feeding. Dentally Necessary Care. This is care which is limited to diagnostic testing, treatment, and the use of dental equipment and appliances which, in the judgment of a dentist, is required to prevent deterioration of dental health, or to restore dental function. The member's general health condition must permit the necessary procedure(s). Decisions about dental necessity are made by the HealthPartners Dental Director or his or her designee. Eligible Dependents. These are the persons shown below. Under this Contract, a person who is considered an enrollee is not qualified as an eligible dependent.
