Tuberculosis Screening. All Employees of the Harford County Public Schools must meet the requirements for medical screening for tuberculosis as established by the Department of Health. An appropriate tuberculosis test will be made available to all employees free of charge.
Tuberculosis Screening a. All new students must provide documentation of legally required immunizations before the start of school.
b. If a student has a positive skin test for tuberculosis exposure, they must provide documentation in the form of a doctor’s letter clearing them to attend school. The student must present this letter to the school prior to any school attendance. Failure to present such documentation will result in exclusion from school until such documentation is given to the school.
c. Upon receipt of such documentation, a student is eligible to attend school. However, that student must, within thirty (30) calendar days, obtain a chest X-ray and present the results of this screening to school site administration. Failure to do so within the allotted thirty (30) days will result in exclusion from school.
d. Students with a positive chest X-ray must be immediately excluded from school until such time as they are able to present a doctor’s letter clearing them to attend school.
Tuberculosis Screening adults. The USPSTF recommends screening for latent tuberculosis infection in populations at increased risk; and
Tuberculosis Screening. The Plan provides preventive tuberculosis screening for certain adults without symptoms at high risk 74. Urinary Incontinence. The plan provides preventive Benefits for yearly incontinence screenings for women.
Tuberculosis Screening. Consistent with the current advisory of the State of New Hampshire, Department of Health and Welfare, Division of Public Health Services, teachers who have met the requirement of the BOARD'S pre- employment or prior post-employment tuberculosis screening will not be required to have further screening while in the continuous employ of the District. All teachers shall comply with future advisories on tuberculosis screening issued by the Division of Public Health Services. The BOARD will provide screening services required after employment but not before employment through the BOARD'S own agents.
Tuberculosis Screening. The Employer shall provide tuberculosis screening at no cost to the employee in accordance with evidence-based guidelines as approved by the Employee Health Medical Director.
Tuberculosis Screening. Screening for tuberculosis will be required every four (4) years or as prescribed by applicable law. Skin tests are available through the County Health Department and from certain health plans. The District will provide an annual opportunity for tuberculin screening at no cost to the employee. The District will provide x-ray examinations at District expense under the following conditions:
1. When this service is not provided by the unit member’s health plan.
2. When the unit member has had a positive tuberculosis skin test.
Tuberculosis Screening. Current documentation of negative TB Test (PPD) on file for each AGENCY agent working with students.
Tuberculosis Screening. The Employer will provide annual tuberculosis screening for all employees who provide direct patient care services at no cost to the employee. The employee may be in pay status for the screen and follow-up treatment.
Tuberculosis Screening. Required for All Students. Refer to the grid below to determine appropriate timeframe for TB Screening and type of testing required. If either screening is returned positive, then you must get a chest x-ray and submit a copy of the report.
