Common use of Customer Deposits Clause in Contracts

Customer Deposits. (A) The Telephone Company will, in order to safeguard its interests, require a reseller, if the reseller has a proven history of late payments or if the reseller's parent or holding company has a proven history of late payments to the Telephone Company or if the reseller does not have established credit (except for a reseller which is a successor of a company which has established credit and the successor has no history of late payments to the Telephone Company), to make a deposit prior to or at any time after the provision of a service to the reseller to be held by the Telephone Company as a guarantee of the payment of rates and charges.
