LAWS AND PATIENT RECORDS ACCESS Customer is responsible for understanding and complying with all state and federal laws related to retention of medical records, patient access to information, and patient authorization to release data. Customer agrees that it will obtain any necessary patient consent prior to using the Service (including, without limitation, the Patient Portal) and will apply settings to exclude information from availability in the Patient Portal as necessary to comply with state or federal law.
