(i) Inform the Bank forthwith in case of the change of address of the Customer providing new address and contact details including phone number, email id, mobile number etc.

(i) Pay to the bank the penalty/penal interest for defaulted rentals as stated herein and as per Bank guidelines issued from time to time; (j) Inform the Bank forthwith in case of the change of address of the Customer providing new address and contact details including phone number, email id, mobile number etcetc and any notice of communication sent by post to registered address of the Customer shall be considered to have been duly served; (k) Indemnify the Bank against any loss or damages that may be caused to the Bank on account of the actions of the Customer including any illegal activity being carried out by the Customer in the course of locker operations.

CUSTOMER’S UNDERTAKINGS AND OBLIGATIONS. 2.1 The Customer shall: (a) Use the Locker only for the purpose for which it is provided and in accordance with applicable law and regulations; (b) Abide by rules and regulations for locker operation as the Bank may from time to time adopt; (c) be jointly and severally (where the Locker is held jointly with others) liable to the Bank under this Agreement; (d) access the Locker in accordance with the operating instructions. Where the Locker operating mandate is in favor of one individual, he/she can be allowed to operate the locker singly; (e) Keep the key, password or any other identification mechanism provided by the Bank for opening of the Locker in a place of safety, not share the same with any other person and not allow the same to fall into hands of any other person, so as to save unauthorized use of the Locker; (df) Operate the Locker only using the key, password or any other identification mechanism provided by the Bank and not otherwise; (eg) Not to temper tamper with or make a copy of key or any other identification mechanism provided by the Bank for operation of the Locker; (fh) Inform the Bank forthwith in case of loss of the key, password or any other identification mechanism provided by the Bank for the operation of the Locker; (gi) Return forthwith to the Bank in case of finding the key, password or any other identification mechanism provided by the Bank for the operation of the Locker, earlier having been reported to the Bank as lost; (hj) Pay to the Bank the Rent when due and bear all costs incurred by the Bank for- (i) Changing the lock and repairs to the Locker on the Customer’s reporting of loss of key provided by the Bank; and (ii) Breaking open of the Locker in terms of this Agreement. (ik) Inform the Bank forthwith in case of the change of address of the Customer providing new address and contact details including phone number, email id, mobile number etc. (l) submit prescribed forms to nominate any person to receive the contents of the Locker upon death of the Customer(s). 2.2 Where this Locker Agreement is terminated before the expiry of the Locker license period, the Rent shall be calculated on pro-rata basis and any excess Rent paid in advance shall be refunded to the Customer. The Customer agrees that any taxes paid previously shall not be refunded. 2.3 Neither the Bank nor any officer or employee thereof in his private or official capacity shall be authorised to act as deputy/agent for the Customer in respect of any matter or thing connected with the Locker. 2.4 In case of death of the Customer(s) the release of the contents of the Locker shall be done as per death claim settlement policy of the Bank. 2.5 In case the Locker is inoperative for a period of 7 (seven) years and if the Customer cannot be located by the Bank, the Bank shall transfer the Locker contents to the nominee and in case of no nominee, to the legal heir. Where the Locker contents remain unclaimed, Bank may dispose the contents in the Locker as per internal process of the Bank and in accordance with applicable regulatory guidelines.

(k) It is clearly understood that the relationship between the Bank and the Licensee shall be that of the Licensor and Licensee and NOT that of a Banker and Customer. (l) In the event of the death of the joint Licensee the survivor/s of them/legal heirs/nominees, as the case may be, and in accordance with the prevailing law and Rules and Regulations will be entitled to operate the Locker. Survivor /s may continue to have the hire in his/her/their name/s on such terms and conditions the Bank may decide or surrender the Locker to the Bank by removing the contents thereof and surrendering the key thereof to the Bank. The Bank shall not be held liable in case of claims arising from the persons other than the survivors /nominees/legal heirs, as the case may be. In the event the Hirer/s nominate/s any person/s under the nomination rules of the Bank to receive the contents of the Locker, the contents shall be delivered as per the nomination instructions and Nomination Rules and Regulations.

(im) Inform keep such amount in fixed deposit for a period as shall be sufficient to cover the locker rent for three years and also cost of breaking open of locker in circumstances mentioned in this Agreement. [This clause 2.1 (m), shall not apply to existing Customer having satisfactorily operative account, vide circular No. RBI/2021-2022/86 referred above.] 2.2 The Customer shall not use the Locker for any illegal activity or keep anything illegal/ contraband or any hazardous substance in the Locker. In the event the Bank forthwith suspects the deposit of any illegal/ contraband or hazardous substance by the Customer in case the Locker, the Customer agrees and acknowledges that the Bank shall have the right to take such appropriate action against the Customer including opening of the change Locker subject to compliance of address legal formalities in this regard, termination of the Customer providing new address right to use the Locker or termination of this Agreement as it deems fit. The rights of the Bank in this regard shall not be limited and contact details including phone number, email id, mobile number etcthe Bank shall be entitled to take all such actions as may be permitted by law.

CUSTOMER’S UNDERTAKINGS AND OBLIGATIONS. 2.1 The Customer shall: (a) Use the Locker only for the purpose for which it is provided and in accordance with applicable law and regulations; (b) Abide by rules and regulations for locker operation as the Bank may from time to time adopt; (c) Keep the key, password or any other identification mechanism provided by the Bank for opening of the Locker in a place of safety, not share the same with any other person and not allow the same to fall into hands of any other person, so as to save unauthorized use of the Locker; (d) Operate the Locker only using the key, password or any other identification mechanism provided by the Bank and not otherwise; (e) Not to temper tamper with or make a copy of key or any other identification mechanism provided by the Bank for operation of the Locker; (f) Inform the Bank forthwith in case of loss of the key, password or any other identification mechanism provided by the Bank for the operation of the Locker; (g) Return forthwith to the Bank in case of finding the key, password or any other identification mechanism provided by the Bank for the operation of the Locker, earlier having been reported to the Bank as lost; (h) Pay to the Bank the Rent when due and bear all costs incurred by the Bank for- (i) Changing the lock and repairs to the Locker on the Customer’s Customer‟s reporting of loss of key provided by the Bank; and (ii) Breaking open of the Locker in terms of this Agreement. (i) Inform the Bank forthwith in case of the change of address of the Customer providing new address and contact details including phone number, email id, mobile number etc.

If the customer's job is transferable or in a foreign country or with any other reasonable reason bank may allow to operate the locker after proper verification.

(f) operate the Locker only using the key, password or any other identification mechanism provided by the Bank and not otherwise; (eg) Not to temper not tamper with or make a copy of key or any other identification mechanism provided by the Bank for operation of the Locker; (fh) Inform inform the Bank forthwith in case of loss of the key, password or any other identification mechanism provided by the Bank for the operation of the LockerLocker and shall observe terms and conditions and bear expenses for change of lock for access to the locker, provided where the locker is hired in joint names the letter advising loss of keys should be signed by all the hirers, provided also the work of replacement of lock / repair shall be carried out by the Bank through its Supplier; (gi) Return return forthwith to the Bank in case of finding the key, password or any other identification mechanism provided by the Bank for the operation of the Locker, earlier having been reported to the Bank as lost; (hj) inform the Bank forthwith in case of the change of address of the Customer providing new address and contact details including phone number, email id, mobile number etc. (k) not access any other locker other than the locker allotted to /hired by the customer. (l) Pay to the Bank the Rent when due and bear all costs incurred by the Bank for- (i) Changing the lock and repairs to the Locker on the Customer’s reporting of loss of key provided by the Bank; and (ii) Breaking Break open of the Locker in terms of this Agreement. (im) Inform keep such amount in fixed deposit for a period as shall be sufficient to cover the locker rent for three years and also cost of breaking open of locker in circumstances mentioned in this Agreement. [This clause 2.1 (l), shall not apply to existing Customer having satisfactorily operative account, vide circular No. RBI/2021-2022/86 referred above.] 2.2 The Customer shall not use the Locker for any illegal activity or keep anything illegal/ contraband or any hazardous substance in the Locker. In the event the Bank forthwith suspects the deposit of any illegal/ contraband or hazardous substance by the Customer in case the Locker, the Customer agrees and acknowledges that the Bank shall have the right to take such appropriate action against the Customer including opening of the change Locker subject to compliance of address legal formalities in this regard, termination of the Customer providing new address right to use the Locker or termination of this Agreement as it deems fit. The rights of the Bank in this regard shall not be limited and contact details including phone number, email id, mobile number etcthe Bank shall be entitled to take all such actions as may be permitted by law.
