Common use of Damage, Loss or Injury to the Works Clause in Contracts

Damage, Loss or Injury to the Works. (a) If any damage, loss or injury affecting the whole or any part of the Works or any Equipment, materials or goods is occasioned byany one or more of the risks covered by the insurance policy or policies referred to in Clause 38A.1 then, upon discovering the said damage, loss or injury, the Contractor shall immediately give notice in writing to the Superintending Officer of the extent, nature and location of such damage, loss or injury.
