Common use of Damage to Survey Control Clause in Contracts

Damage to Survey Control. The Contractor shall protect and preserve the established bench marks and monuments and shall make no changes in locations without written notice to and approval from the Division Manager. Any of these which may be lost or destroyed or which require shifting because of necessary changes in grades or locations shall, subject to prior approval from Division Manager, be replaced and accurately located by the Contractor.
