Common use of Data Aggregation Services Clause in Contracts

Data Aggregation Services. With respect to PHI and PI created or received by the Business Associate in its capacity as the Business Associate of the Covered Entity, Business Associate may combine such PHI and PI it has received from the Covered Entity with the PHI and PI received by the Business Associate in its capacity as a Business Associate of another Covered Entity to permit data analysis that relates to the health care operation of the respective Covered Entity, if data analysis is part of the Services that Business Associate is to provide to Covered Entity.
