Common use of Day Suspension Clause in Contracts

Day Suspension. After the written warning, if the Employee’s conduct or performance continues to be unacceptable, he or she will be suspended from work without pay for a period of one (1) working day. The Employee will be counselled again at this stage and a note will be put in the Employee’s file. The Employee will be warned that if he or she does not correct the problem, he or she will receive further disciplinary action up to and including discharge.
