DBE Certification and Decertification Sample Clauses

The DBE Certification and Decertification clause defines the requirements and procedures for a business to be recognized as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and the circumstances under which this status may be revoked. It typically outlines the criteria a business must meet to obtain certification, the documentation required, and the process for periodic review or investigation. Additionally, it specifies the grounds for decertification, such as failure to meet eligibility standards or providing false information. This clause ensures that only qualified businesses benefit from DBE programs, maintaining the integrity and fairness of contracting opportunities reserved for disadvantaged groups.

The Consultant shall then provide to the project representative of NCTC written documentation indicating the DBE’s existing certification status. Any subcontract entered into as a result of the Agreement shall contain all of the provisions of this section.
