Deadheading By Air. The provisions of this paragraph apply to pilots scheduled to deadhead by air transportation.

Related to Deadheading By Air

• Deadheading 17.1 Deadheading and service may be combined and, when so combined, will be paid actual miles or hours on a continuous time basis with not less than a basic day for the combined service and deadheading, in accordance with the provisions of Article 6. The provisions of Article 7, will apply where appropriate when deadheading and service are combined. Employees will be notified at the time of call, if deadheading and services are to be combined.

• Article and Section Headings The article and section headings herein are for convenience of reference only, and shall not limit or otherwise affect the meaning hereof.

• Headings for Convenience Only The division of this Agreement into articles and sections is for convenience of reference only and shall not affect the interpretation or construction of this Agreement.

• Headings, etc The provision of a Table of Contents, the division of this Agreement into Articles and Sections and the insertion of headings are for convenient reference only and do not affect the construction or interpretation of this Agreement.

• Title of Parts and Sections Any titles of the sections or subsections of this Agreement are inserted for convenience of reference only and are to be disregarded in interpreting any part of the Agreement's provisions.

• CAPTIONS & HEADINGS The captions and headings in this Master Contract are for convenience only and are not intended to, and shall not be construed to, limit, enlarge, or affect the scope or intent of this Master Contract nor the meaning of any provisions hereof.

• Caption Headings Caption headings in this Agreement are for convenience purposes only and are not to be used to interpret or define the provisions of this Agreement.

• Interpretation Not Affected by Headings, etc The division of this Agreement into articles, sections and paragraphs and the insertion of headings are for convenience of reference only and shall not affect the construction or interpretation of this Agreement.

• Headings The headings contained in this Agreement are for reference purposes only and shall not affect in any way the meaning or interpretation of this Agreement.
