Common use of Deadline Clause in Contracts

Deadline. The parties agree to commence negotiations with respect to a successor Agreement in accordance with N.J.A.C. 19:12-2.1. Such negotiations shall begin with the exchange of written proposals for the successor agreement. Any agreement so negotiated shall apply to all members of the bargaining unit and shall be reduced to writing and signed by the parties.
