Common use of Deadlock Notices Clause in Contracts

Deadlock Notices. When a deadlock occurs for any reason, the Board, by written notice shall, immediately notify the Union of such deadlock, including the date thereof, and the need for the services of a fifth (5th) member of the Board. If the Union desires to submit the case to the five (5) member Board, it must do so by written notice to the President of the Company with copies to the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Board within ten (10) days from the receipt of notice from the Board that the Board was deadlocked.

If the Union desires to submit the case to the such five (5) member BoardBoard pursuant to the terms of this provision, it must do so by written notice to the President of the Company Cargo Service Manager with copies to the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Board within ten (10) days from the receipt of notice from the Board that the Board was deadlocked.
