Common use of Debts or Delinquencies to State Clause in Contracts

Debts or Delinquencies to State. If the Contractor is indebted to or owes delinquent taxes to the state, pursuant to §403.0551 of the Government Code, any payments owed to the Contractor under this Contract will be applied toward elimination of the Contractor's indebtedness to the state, delinquency in payment of taxes to the state, or delinquency in payment of taxes that the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts administers or collects until the indebtedness or delinquency is paid in full.
