Decision to Apply. (a) If a Discovery is made on a Nation Block, Paltar shall deliver any notice of Discovery required under the Petroleum Act and shall as soon as possible submit to the Operating Committee a report containing available details concerning the Discovery and Operator’s recommendation as to whether a Production Licence should be sought. (b) The Operating Committee decision whether to apply to the Government for a Production Licence covering such Nation Block shall be decided by Nation alone.

Decision to Apply. (a) If a Discovery is made on a Nation Block, Officer shall deliver any notice of Discovery required under the Petroleum Act and shall as soon as possible submit to the Operating Committee a report containing available details concerning the Discovery and Operator’s recommendation as to whether a Production Licence should be sought. (b) Subject to the rights of the Government to require such actions, the Operating Committee decisions whether to nominate lands including one or more Nation Blocks for declaration as a location and to apply to the Government for a Production Licence covering such Nation Block shall be decided by Nation alone.
