Common use of Decoration Clause in Contracts

Decoration. 4.5.1 To clean, prepare and paint or treat and generally redecorate: (i) all external parts of the Property in every third year and in the last year of the Term; (ii) all internal parts of the Property in every fifth year and in the last year of the Term; 4.5.2 All the work described in Clause 4.5.1 is to be carried out: (i) in a good and workmanlike manner to the Landlord’s reasonable satisfaction; and (ii) in colours which (if different from the existing colour) are first approved in writing by the Landlord (approval not to be unreasonably withheld or delayed);
