Dedicated Internet Access Sample Clauses

The Dedicated Internet Access clause defines the terms under which a service provider delivers a private, high-capacity internet connection exclusively for a customer's use. This clause typically outlines the bandwidth guarantees, uptime commitments, and technical support provisions associated with the dedicated service, distinguishing it from shared or best-effort internet access. Its core function is to ensure the customer receives reliable, consistent internet performance, which is critical for businesses that require stable connectivity for operations, thereby minimizing downtime and performance variability.
Dedicated Internet Access. DIA provides symmetrical dedicated Internet connectivity. DIA is configured, based on Customer specifications, with a fixed maximum bandwidth rate. DIA Services support upload/download speeds from 100Mbps up to 10Gbps.
Dedicated Internet Access. “DIA”) DIA is a dedicated bandwidth from Customer Service Location to the Frontier IP network then to the public Internet which provides reliable, secure and scalable bandwidth. Physical termination shall conform to applicable rules and regulations with respect to Minimum point of entry (MPOE) and demarcation point. If Customer requests extensions beyond the MPOE, such extension (s) shall be subject to Frontier’s cabling service policies and Frontier’s charges related thereto per separate Frontier Cabling Service and Fee Schedule.
Dedicated Internet Access the Service Provider transmits IP-packets between the Service Provider’s network and associated networks of its customers as well as to and from the global internet using the Service Provider’s settlement -free peering agreements with other networks. c) Ethernet kapcsolat szolgáltatás: a Szolgáltató Ethernet kereteket továbbít a Szolgáltató és az ügyfelek hozzá kapcsolódó hálózata között az Ethernet csatlakozópontok között felállított kizárólagos VLAN csatlakozásokon keresztül. A Szolgáltató Ethernet Kapcsolat Szolgáltatása a standard maximum 1500 bájtos MTU méretet támogatja és nem támogat multicast szolgáltatást.
Dedicated Internet Access. 4.1.1. Dedicated Internet Access is configured to allow for bursting beyond the committed data rate outlined in the Service Order. The monthly billing for Dedicated Internet Access is based on the sustained usage level during the month, as determined by the traffic samples taken approximately every five (5) minutes over the course of the month. Customer’s monthly charge is determined by the usage level under which ninety-five percent (95%) of the samples fall during the billing month. If the 95th percentile measurement exceeds the committed data rate set in the Service Order, the excess shall be billed at the excess rate specified in the Service Order; otherwise, it will be billed at the same Mbps rate of the affected service (ex. A 100Mbps committed data rate at $300 per month would equate to a $3/Mbps overage rate). 4.1.2. The sustained usage is measured by eStruxture’s bandwidth billing system at the borders of its Autonomous System (“AS”) (only where it interfaces to the external networks). The traffic metered at all border points is aggregated for billing purposes. 4.1.3. The burstable limit on any internet service delivered on a 1GE port shall match the speed of the port. For internet services on 10GE ports, the burstable limit shall be set as double the value of Customer’s committed data rate (ex. committed data rate is 1000Mbps making the burstable limit 2000Mbps) unless otherwise specified in the Service Order. eStruxture is not responsible for Customer network traffic levels and Customer is solely responsible for maintaining and controlling traffic burst usage levels. 4.1.4. Customer can request that their service be configured as Fixed, which would restrict the service from bursting beyond its assigned committed data rate.
