Common use of Deduction of Union Dues Payments Clause in Contracts

Deduction of Union Dues Payments. (a) There shall be a compulsory deduction of Union dues from payroll, initiation fees and assessments as established by the Union from time to time for all Employees in the bargaining unit. (b) This deduction of Union dues from temporary and probationary Employees shall imply no right for the Union to dispute the Board's discretion in laying off temporary Employees or releasing probationary Employees at the termination of the probationary period.
