Common use of Definition/Notice Clause in Contracts

Definition/Notice. The Employer agrees to provide the Union with not less than ten (10) weeks’ notice in writing of any plans or intention to introduce a measure, policy, practice or change that affects the terms and conditions, or the termination of Employees covered by this agreement. The Union and the Employer may choose to waive the ten (10) weeks’ notice by mutual consent.
