DEFINITION OF BUSINESS DAY IN JAPAN Sample Clauses

DEFINITION OF BUSINESS DAY IN JAPAN. Seller and Buyers have not reached a conclusion regarding whether December 31 should be considered a Business Day in Japan. Buyers are not able to make payment to Seller on December 31 through a bank in Japan since December 31 is, by Japanese Government order, a non-banking day in Japan. However, Seller believes the treatment of December 31 as a non-business day would cause Seller to incur substantial financial losses and is not justified by the difficulties faced by Buyers.
