For purposes of this Agreement, (a) “Business Day” means any day on which the New York Stock Exchange is open for trading, other than any day on which commercial banks are authorized or required to be closed in New York City, (b) “Subsidiary” means “subsidiary” as such term is defined in Rule 405 of the Rules and Regulations and includes both partnerships and corporations and (c) “Significant Subsidiary” means “significant subsidiary” as such term is defined in Rule 405 of the Rules and Regulations.
Definition of Business Day. For purposes of this Contract, the term “business day” as used herein shall mean all days of the week except Saturday, Sunday and any other days which are declared federal bank holidays in the state of North Carolina. If any period of time ends, or if any act required to be performed, on a day other than a business day, then the applicable period of time shall be deemed to expire, or the date required for the performance for the appropriate obligation shall be deemed to be extended, on the next business day following the applicable date of performance.
