The Trust hereby authorizes the Indenture Trustee to receive the Funding Agreement from Hartford Life pursuant to the Assignment of the Funding Agreement (the "Assignment"), to be entered into on the Issuance Date, and included in the closing instrument dated as of the Issuance Date (the "CLOSING INSTRUMENT").
