Department Head Response. The grieving employee's Department Head or his or her designee will give his or her answer to the grievance in writing within ten (10) working days from the time he or she received the grievance in writing. The answer shall include the following: 49.5.2.4.1 A complete statement of the City's position and the facts upon which it is based. 49.5.2.4.2 The remedy or correction which has been offered, if any.
