DEPARTMENT OF NATIONAL DEFENSE. 1. The Board shall approve, upon request by a teacher, up to three (3) candidates for DND provided that: a. The teacher has a standard certificate or higher; b. The teacher has a minimum of three (3) years teaching service in District No. 42; c. The teacher is recommended for the position by both the Principal and the Superintendent of Schools. 2. Extensions beyond the initial assignment may be granted.
