DESCRIPTIVE LITERATURE. 1. Descriptive literature fully describing the product bid (where such literature exists) shall be included with the bid to assist the issuing Department in evaluating the submission. Failure to do so may be cause for rejection of the bid. 2. Any items, systems or devices supplied in this bid that are proprietary in nature relative to maintenance, repair, servicing or updating must be disclosed on the bid form.

DESCRIPTIVE LITERATURE. All bidders must submit complete manufacturers' descriptive literature regarding the equipment they propose to furnish. The literature shall be sufficient in detail in order to allow a full and fair evaluation of the bid submitted. Failure to include this information may result in the bid being rejected. All modifications made to the standard production unit described in the manufacturer’s brochures must be certified by the manufacturer and submitted with the bid, or the bid will be deemed “non- responsive” and rejected without further review.
DESCRIPTIVE LITERATURE. The Bidder may be required to submit descriptive literature of the supplies or services being offered. If requested, the literature will be used in the evaluation process to determine the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. If not provided as part of the Bid response, the Bidder must provide said literature within ten (10) calendar days a fter request/notification by the Office of Procurement Services to do so. Any references, that may appear in the descriptive literature, that may alter the terms and conditions and specifications of the Bid (i.e. F.O.B. Shipping Point or Prices Subje ct to Change), will not be part of any contract and will be disregarded by the state of Ohio. Failure of the Bidder to furnish descriptive literature either as part of their Bid response or within the time specified herein will deem the Bidder not responsive. EVALUATION: Bids will be evaluated in accordance with Article I-17 of the “Instructions to Bidders”. In addition, items will be evaluated as follows:

Failure to furnish the descriptive literature(s) by the time specified in the Solicitation will require rejection of the bid.

DESCRIPTIVE LITERATURE. Bidders should include with their bid all available descriptive literature for the equipment they bid to rent to the County. The year, make, and model of each item of equipment bid shall be identified. If not included with the bid, the bidder must submit within five (5) calendar days after notification from the County.

DESCRIPTIVE LITERATURE a. Descriptive literature" means information (e.g., cuts, illustrations, drawings, and brochures) that is submitted as part of a bid. Descriptive literature is required to establish, for the purpose of evaluation and award, details of the product offered that are specified elsewhere in the solicitation and pertain to significant elements such as (1) design; (2) materials; (3) components; (4) performance characteristics; and (5) methods of manufacture, assembly, construction, or operation. The term includes only information required to determine the technical acceptability of the offered product. It does not include other information such as that used in determining the responsibility of a prospective Contractor or for operating or maintaining equipment. b. Descriptive literature, required elsewhere in this solicitation, must be (1) identified to show the item(s) of the offer to which it applies and (2) received by the time specified in this solicitation for receipt of bids. Failure to submit descriptive literature on time will require rejection of the bid. c. The failure of descriptive literature to show that the product offered conforms to the requirements of this solicitation will require rejection of the bid. d. At the discretion of the Purchasing Agent, the requirement for furnishing descriptive literature may be waived for a bidder if -- (1) The bid states that the offered product is the same as a product offered previously by the bidder to the City (bidder must provide historical data, i.e., solicitation, purchase order, contract number, etc., to support the bidder's statement) and (2) The Contract Administrator determines that the previously offered product was accepted or tested and found to comply with specification and other requirements for technical acceptability conforming in every material respect with those in this solicitation.
DESCRIPTIVE LITERATURE. Responders shall include descriptive literature/technical specifications with their response for approved equal items offered and items not on the Approved/Qualified Product List and not on Exhibit D: Price Schedule. Failure to comply may result in rejection of the response.
