Common use of Design Conditions Clause in Contracts

Design Conditions. Pressurization: The ventilation and exhaust system shall be designed and controlled to provide the necessary quantity of outside air to maintain indoor air quality, to satisfy the combustion air requirements, and exhaust requirements in restrooms, and lunch room areas, while maintaining a positive pressure (0.01” to 0.02” of water column) within the building. Ventilation: Ventilation requirements shall meet the minimum specifications contained in the BOCA Mechanical Code for the occupancy areas. The following values shall be considered a minimum acceptable levels (please note the requirement for individual exhaust fan for the waiting area):
