DESIGN PROFESSIONAL'S RECORDS AND FILES. 7.1.1 Books and records relating to this Agreement shall be maintained in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). University or University's authorized representative shall have access to, the right to audit and the right to copy pertinent parts of Design Professional and Design Professional’s consultants’ books and records. Such records shall include but not be limited to accounting records (hard copy, as well as computer readable data); contracts; payroll records; subconsultant agreements; vendor agreements; purchase orders; leases; original estimates; estimating work sheets; correspondence; receipts; memoranda; and any other supporting evidence deemed necessary to substantiate charges under this agreement. All such books and records shall be preserved for a period of at least 3 years from the date of Final Payment under this Agreement.
