Designated Administrator. 12.1 At all schools, the principal shall designate one teacher and one alternate for the year who will voluntarily assume administrative responsibilities as directed by the principal. If all administrators assigned to a building are scheduled to be absent from the District for a full day, a substitute will be scheduled to relieve the designated teacher. 12.2 Administrative duties require a teacher to administer the building in a manner which is consistent with building and District policies, but the teacher shall not assume such administrative duties as evaluation of staff.
