Common use of Designation of a Beneficiary or Beneficiaries Clause in Contracts

Designation of a Beneficiary or Beneficiaries. The Executive may designate in a writing filed with the Company one or more persons (including his estate) as the beneficiary or beneficiaries of the benefits provided for under the Agreement after the Executive's death. The Executive may change his designation of beneficiary or beneficiaries from time to time, and the last designation in writing filed with the Company prior to his death will control. If the Executive has failed to file a designation of beneficiary at the time of the Executive's death, or if all designated beneficiaries have predeceased him, the amounts payable under this Agreement shall be paid to the Executive's estate.
