Common use of Designation of a Second Evaluator Clause in Contracts

Designation of a Second Evaluator. If the employee does not agree that he/she is experiencing performance difficulties, either the employee or the supervisor may, in consultation with Human Resources, select a mutually agreed upon second evaluator. The second evaluator will observe and evaluate the employee’s performance a minimum of two (2) times, for not less than sixty (60) minutes total. At the end of the observation/evaluation process, the employee, principal/supervisor and the second evaluator will meet to discuss the second evaluator’s observations and evaluation.
