Common use of Destruction of the Data Set; Certificates of Destruction Clause in Contracts

Destruction of the Data Set; Certificates of Destruction. The Authorized User must ensure that the Data Set is deleted, destroyed, or otherwise rendered unreadable, as directed by the GMCB, within thirty (30) days of the Expiration Date or the termination of this Agreement, or by the date the Data Set is no longer needed for the purposes described in the Application, whichever comes first. The Principal Investigator shall certify that the Data Set has been deleted, destroyed, or otherwise rendered unreadable by submitting a written certificate of destruction to the GMCB, and when applicable, DVHA.
