When evaluating development applications within their respective areas of responsibility, both Parties will consider the impact of proposed development on the floodplain, natural areas, wildlife habitat, steep slopes, watershed and historically-and archaeologically-significant areas, and will require impacts to be reasonably minimized and mitigated.
