Common use of Direct Care Staff Clause in Contracts

Direct Care Staff. Contractor shall provide a minimum ratio of 1 direct care staff for every 6 residents, with a total of three (3) direct care staff at full capacity on day and evening shifts. On night shift, Contractor shall provide a minimum ratio of 1 staff for every 8 residents, with a total of two (2) direct care staff at full capacity. Contractor shall add staffing when it is warranted by Individual acuity. Contractor’s direct care staff are responsible for delivering the Services described in this Contract, the Individual’s Service Plan and Behavior Plan.
